Punk burst onto the scene in the second half of the 1970’s with its aggressive raw energy, confrontational lyrics and rhythm guitars spewing out arrangements that were just unorthodox. It was that moment of revolutionary art, overturning what had gone before.
The influence of Punk is undeniable and there is no doubt that Underground has been influenced by and has been part of the subculture.
