ORIGINAL STEEL CAP – COMMANDO – ORANGE LEATHER STEEL TOE CAP BOOT

Together with the Tracker and Stormer, the Commando is one of the most recognisable Underground designs. Bearing the serial number 7703, and having been introduced to the collection in the late 1980’s the Allgender Commando boot has been produced in over 300 variations of colour and materials

Forever popular in regular black leather on a single sole, the Commando is a heroic working man’s boot that has been re-appropriated as a uniform for counterculture. The characteristic three row puritan stitching, steel cap and army boot last is constructed using 100% leather uppers. We also have vegan friendly options that are environmentally friendly as well. The uppers are built onto a cleated rubber sole. The Orange Leather Steel Toe Cap boot is produced using a rub off leather with an ornage base and black coating that is rubbed away  to reveal the ornage underlay.

There are options is single double and triple soles and with either the internal steel cap or the Underground external toe cap. Available from size 2-14

Our Steel Cap footwear is produced to a very high standard and offer the wearer comfort and a degree of protection. However, our boots are tested in a street environment and have not been subjected to a test to check their compliance to safety standards.
